A LITTLE ABOUT US... Since 2003, owners Norma and Chef Teodulo Pinto have been honored to serve the locals and tourists of the Monterey Peninsula. Some might attribute their success to the friendly and knowledgeable staff or their reasonable prices; others might note the refined, yet casual and comfortable bistro environment they've created in one of Monterey's older, historically-rich neighborhoods. Inarguably, when all is said and done, they all come for the fantastic food. Merging the best flavors of French, Spanish, Italian and Calfornian cuisine, Chef Pinto has created an array of dishes that puts Norma Jean's among Monterey's best eateries.
LOCAL AND SUSTAINABILITY-MINDED Norma Jean's is proud to purchase much of its food from organic and local farmers (Salinas Valley produce), fisherman and wineries/vineyards (Ventana, Joullian, Carmel Road, Monterra, Hayman & Hill's Meritage). We are also committed to supporting ocean-friendly seafood by participating in the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch.
